Section Divider: What Is G Fuel

What Is G Fuel?

G Fuel is a powdered energy drink mix that is marketed as a supplement to enhance mental and physical performance. It contains a blend of natural ingredients such as caffeine, vitamins, and amino acids, which work together to provide an energy boost, enhance focus, and support endurance.†

Section Divider: G Fuel Ingredients

G Fuel Ingredients:

G Fuel is powered by a blend of natural ingredients, including amino acids, caffeine, and natural fruit extracts. Each ingredient has unique benefits that can help improve physical and cognitive performance, making G Fuel a popular choice among gamers and athletes alike.

G fuel Ingredients

The exact ingredients may vary slightly depending on the flavor, but generally, G Fuel contains the following:

  • Taurine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • L-Citrulline Malate
  • Caffeine
  • Glucuronolactone
  • N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCl
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
  • Adenosine-5 Triphosphate Disodium Salt (ATP)
  • Antioxidant Complex

Taurine is an amino acid naturally found in the body and is known to improve endurance and reduce fatigue. It’s commonly used in energy drinks as it has been shown to improve performance and reduce muscle damage during exercise. The presence of Taurine in G Fuel may provide athletes with the energy and focus needed to perform at their best. (1,2)

L-Tyrosine & N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine:

Another important ingredient in G Fuel is L-Tyrosine and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine. This amino acid plays a crucial role in producing neurotransmitters such as dopamine and norepinephrine, which regulate mood, attention, and focus. L-Tyrosine has been shown to improve cognitive performance and reduce the negative effects of stress, making it an ideal ingredient for G Fuel. Whereas N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is a form of L-Tyrosine that is believed to have a higher bioavailability. (3)

L-Citrulline Malate:

G Fuel also contains L-Citrulline Malate, an amino acid that has been shown to improve blood flow and reduce muscle fatigue during exercise. Increasing blood flow and reducing fatigue, L-Citrulline Malate may improve performance and help athletes push through their workouts. (4,5)

Caffeine is another key ingredient in G Fuel, and it’s known for its ability to increase alertness and focus. The amount of caffeine in G Fuel is around 140mg per serving, which is equivalent to a cup of coffee. The caffeine content may provide the necessary energy boost to keep gamers and athletes alert and focused during their activities. (6)

Glucuronolactone is another ingredient in G Fuel that is believed to enhance physical performance by reducing fatigue and improving endurance. This compound is naturally produced in the body and is involved in detoxification. (7,8) But more research is needed to analyze its performance-enhancing effects.

N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCl:

N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCl is a form of carnitine that helps transport fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they can be used for energy production. This may improve physical performance by increasing energy availability. (9)

Adenosine-5 Triphosphate Disodium Salt:

Adenosine-5 Triphosphate Disodium Salt is an organic compound that is involved in energy metabolism. It’s known to improve physical performance and reduce fatigue, making it a valuable ingredient in G Fuel. (10)

Antioxidant Complex:

Lastly, the Antioxidant Complex in G Fuel contains a blend of natural fruit extracts that are rich in antioxidants. These antioxidants can help protect cells from damage and support overall health and well-being. (11,12)

Section Divider: G Fuel VS Energy Drinks

G Fuel Energy VS Energy Drinks:

How does G Fuel compare to traditional energy drinks? The answer is simple: it’s a much healthier alternative. Unlike many energy drinks, G Fuel is sugar-free and contains low calories, making it a much better option for those looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Plus, with natural ingredients, G Fuel is less likely to cause the crash-and-burn effect often associated with traditional energy drinks.†

One of the main differences between G Fuel and traditional energy drinks like Red Bull or Monster Energy is the ingredients. G Fuel contains natural ingredients, including amino acids, caffeine, and natural fruit extracts. In contrast, Red Bull and Monster Energy contain various artificial ingredients, including artificial sweeteners and preservatives. While these artificial ingredients are generally considered safe, some people prefer avoiding them and choosing a more natural option like G Fuel.†

Another difference between these drinks is the caffeine content. G Fuel contains around 140mg of caffeine per serving, equivalent to a cup of coffee. Red Bull contains about 80mg of caffeine per can, while Monster Energy contains about 160mg per can. This means that G Fuel has a moderate amount of caffeine compared to these other drinks, which may be beneficial for people who are sensitive to caffeine or want to avoid high doses.†

Finally, there is the taste. G Fuel is available in various flavors, including fruit and candy-inspired options, and many users enjoy the taste. Red Bull and Monster Energy also have different flavors, but some may find them overly sweet or artificial.†

Section Divider: Similar To G Fuel Energy

Similar To G Fuel Energy:

At this time, we are not stocking G Fuel. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other options available! G Fuel and pre-workouts are both supplements designed to enhance physical performance and increase energy during workouts. While they share similar goals, there are some differences between these supplements.

Below is our list of tried-and-true pre-workouts for non-workout purposes.

Noxipro Supplement Facts

Noxipro is a pre-workout supplement from CTD Sports designed to enhance physical performance and increase energy during workouts. While G Fuel can also be used for physical performance and increasing energy, these products have different formulations and are intended for different purposes.

Noxipro is a pre-workout supplement that is designed to be taken before exercise. It contains various ingredients that can help increase energy and focus, reduce muscle fatigue, and promote muscle growth and strength. Noxipro contains stimulants such as caffeine and alpha yohimbine, which can help increase energy and focus during workouts.

G Fuel, on the other hand, is a powdered energy drink that can be consumed nearly anytime. It contains amino acids, vitamins, and other ingredients designed to boost sustained energy without the crash or jitters often associated with other energy drinks. G Fuel does contain caffeine, but in lower amounts than Noxipro (200mg), and also includes antioxidants and other compounds that can support overall health and well-being.

In terms of their specific ingredients, Noxipro contains:

  • Beta-Alanine
  • L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate
  • Fibersol-2
  • Creatine Monohydrate
  • Caffeine
  • Infinergy (Dicaffeine Malate)
  • Naringenin
  • Theacrine
  • Alpha Yohimbine
  • Huperzia serrata Club Moss Extract
  • Capsicum Annum Fruit Extract

One of the key ingredients in Noxipro is Beta Alanine, an amino acid that can help reduce muscle fatigue and improve endurance during exercise. Beta-Alanine is a known buffering agent for lactic acid buildup (the burning sensation we get from working out). When you supplement with Beta-Alanine, you delay the onset of this build-up, which allows you to continue training (13,14).

L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate:

Next up, we have L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG). -Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (2:1) is another amino acid that is involved in the production of nitric oxide, which can help increase blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles. (15)

Our next ingredient is something we haven’t seen in pre-workouts before, Fibersol®-2. Fibersol®-2 is a digestion-resistant maltodextrin corn fiber. This ingredient can act as a low-calorie bulking agent and lower blood cholesterol and glucose levels. This soluble fiber can help regulate digestion and promote a feeling of fullness. (16)

Creatine Monohydrate:

After Fibersol®-2, we have Creatine Monohydrate. Creatine is a combination of 3 naturally occurring amino acids (L-Arginine, Glycine, and L-Methionine). Creatine Monohydrate is a popular supplement that can help increase muscle size and strength. (17)

Caffeine & Infinergy™:

Caffeine and Infinergy™ (Dicaffeine Malate) are both stimulants that can help increase energy and mental focus during workouts. Infinergy™ is a buffered version of caffeine that has an extended half-life. The benefit of DiCaffeine Malate is that the energy may be there longer, and there may be less of a “crash” when the stimulant wears off. (18,19)

Naringenin is a flavonoid that is naturally found in grapefruit, and it has been shown to have a number of potential health benefits. Specifically, research suggests that Naringenin has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which means it may be able to help protect the body from oxidative stress and inflammation. (20)

Theacrine, also known as TeaCrine, is a compound similar to caffeine and can provide similar benefits but with less risk of tolerance buildup. (21

Alpha-Yohimbine, derived from the bark of the African Yohimbe tree, is a stimulant that can help increase energy and focus. Also known as Rauwolscine, Alpha-yohimbine is known as a stereoisomer of Yohimbine. Because of this, it has very similar effects to yohimbine. Rauwolscine is an alpha-receptor antagonist, meaning it can block the action of the receptors responsible for stopping lipolysis (fat breakdown). (22,23)

Huperzia Serrata Club Moss Extract:

Huperzia serrata Club Moss Extract contains Huperzine A, a natural compound that has been shown to improve memory and cognitive function. In fact, research suggests that Huperzine A can enhance the levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain, which is important for learning and memory processes. Additionally, Huperzine A may have neuroprotective effects, which could help prevent damage to brain cells and promote overall brain health. (24)

Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract:

Derived from chili peppers, Capsicum Annum Fruit Extract is a natural ingredient that can help to increase metabolism and promote fat burning. Specifically, the extract contains a compound called capsaicin, which is known to have thermogenic properties. This means that it can raise body temperature, which in turn can increase energy expenditure and help to burn calories. Capsicum Annum Fruit Extract may also help reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness, making it a potential tool for weight management. (25)

How To Take Noxipro:

The manufacturers recommend taking one serving with 4-8 ounces of cold water. Consume 30-45 minutes before training.

People who are caffeine should start with half a scoop to assess tolerance.

Do not take more than two scoops in 24 hours.

According to some studies, Lion’s Mane Mushroom Extract may improve cognitive function and brain health. Specifically, the natural substances in the extract may help protect the brain and improve memory, focus, and thinking. As such, this ingredient is becoming increasingly popular as a potential tool for cognitive enhancement and brain health. (31)

Theanine is an amino acid that can help reduce anxiety and improve focus and attention. It is often referred to as an anti-stress amino acid, as it may promote relaxation without a sedation effect. But, when combined with Caffeine, there may be a synergistic effect. Research suggests this combo may promote heightened focus, awareness, and energy. (32)

Theobromine is a natural compound that is naturally present in cocoa, and it has been shown to have a number of potential benefits for the body and mind. Specifically, research suggests that Theobromine can help to improve mood and focus, making it a potential tool for cognitive enhancement. Additionally, Theobromine may have some cardiovascular benefits, as it has been shown to improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. Unlike some other stimulants, Theobromine is considered to be safe and well-tolerated by most people, even at higher doses. (33,34)

How To Take Infinite Brain:

The manufacturers recommend taking one scoop with 4-6 oz. of water.

CognisportCogniSport is a new powerful nootropic by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals that can be your ultimate gaming companion. It features four proprietary blends supporting energy, focus/concentration, and memory! In comparison to G Fuel, the only ingredient shared is Caffeine. Unfortunately, this ingredient is within the first proprietary blend, so we can’t be sure how much Caffeine is in CogniSport. However, there are multiple stimulants in CogniSport, so we recommend assessing your tolerance if you try it!

Now let’s dive into the differences. First and foremost, CogniSport is tablets instead of a powder like the other products in this review. This can be a negative for some, but formula-wise, it may help improve absorption. The next obvious difference is how massive the formula is. CogniSport includes four proprietary blends for a total of 1.3 grams of active ingredients.

The first blend, Proprietary Focus, Concentration, and Mood Blend, features a total of 600mg of the following ingredients:

  • Geranium Extract (50mg)
