What Women Think About Circumcised Penises

11 Women Reveal If They Really Care About You Being Cut

Traditionally speaking, having your son circumcised is the more popular choice in North America. The argument being that the procedure makes for a more penis that is more hygienic and less susceptible to infection and sexually transmitted diseases. However, on the opposite end of the spectrum, people believe not being circumcised has its share of benefits as well, including abrasion-prevention as well as being able to experience important sexual benefits that the foreskin provides.

According to research published by the Mayo Clinic a few years ago, the circumcision rate in newborn boys has fallen from 83% in 1960 to 77% in 2010. And worldwide, only about 30% of the world’s male popular over 15 is circumcised, according to the World Health Organization. Evidently, things are about to change.

With such discrepancies regarding circumcision these days, I decided to speak with women of all ages and walks of life who’ve experienced sex with both circumcised and uncircumcised men to voice their own preference and determine the pros and cons of each.

Circumcised Penises “Tend To Be Cleaner”

As a woman whose preference in sexual activities is oral, I prefer a circumcised penis because, as much as one can generalize, they tend to be cleaner and therefore more enjoyable to suck on. — Cynthia, 72

2. Sex Is Different (In A Good Way) With An Uncircumcised Man

Personally, I had never seen an uncircumcised penis until I met my husband. And I’ve found that I prefer it! The extra skin makes it easier to give him a hand job and it’s different — in a good way. It feels a bit fuller I guess? I don’t know. I just remember when we first started having sex without condoms, it was awesome sex. It was different, and I wish I could explain how, but I can’t.

I also don’t think it looks gross or anything; it doesn’t look much different than a circumcised one when it’s erect anyway. — Kat, 27

Circumcised Penises Have Been “Mutilated”

I prefer a man with an intact, natural penis. I find it disturbing that a woman would “prefer” a body part that has been mutilated, especially knowing the trauma her man suffered as a child due to “circumcision”. — Laurie, 41

Circumcised Is Better, Because Uncircumcised Penises Can Be “Really Gross”

Circumcised for sure. Men with uncircumcised penises often are not clean and they can be really gross. — TJ, 63

Uncircumcised Penises Are More Sensitive (And Therefore Feel Better) During Sex

Uncircumcised. The foreskin protects them from chafing against tight jeans all day, making them a lot more sensitive. — Penny, 29

There’s A Chance An Uncircumcised Man Will Get Circumcised As An Adult Because Of Societal Preference

I’ve had partners who were circumcised as well as uncircumcised. All things being equal, I personally prefer circumcised. I like the look, the feel of it in my hands, and the sensitivity just below the head. And the real or perceived notion that circumcised is just cleaner or more hygienic is very powerful! As a side note, my adult son (who was not circumcised at birth due to my in-laws ignorance and bullying), decided to become circumcised as an adult. It was a painful procedure. I can only hope that he considers it to have been worth it. I have a feeling it was. — Katherine, 50

An Uncircumcised Penis “Looks Like A Horse Penis”

Without a doubt I prefer a circumcised penis. To me a circumcised penis is much better looking and more fun to handle. It is easier to target the sensitive spot at the tip of the penis. An uncircumcised penis looks like a horse penis to me. Never knew what to do with all that extra skin when giving a hand job. — Christine, 63

Uncircumcised Penises Are Better For G-Spot Stimulation

I prefer uncircumcised. The foreskin of an uncircumcised penis increases the girth of the penis and increases the amount of pressure and friction on the g-spot. This increased sensation, increases the amount of blood flow and results in the ability to achieve orgasm easier for women. It ultimately results in an overall more pleasurable experience. — Keisha, 23

Uncircumcised Is Great, But When Combined With A Fantastic Physique, It’s Even Better

I prefer uncircumcised. The natural state of a penis is much more appealing. And the only man i’ve ever seen with an uncircumcised penis had the most gorgeous body. It all works. — Victoria, 34

Circumcised Penises Are Nicer To Look At

This is tough because I’ve had good sex with both, but I will say a circumcised penis is definitely more attractive, but the man I’ve had my longest-going sexual relationship is uncircumcised, so there’s that. — Sarah, 26

Uncircumcised Penises Can Be Complicated To Work With

I would probably say my preference leans a little more toward circumcised. I guess it would be the visual aspect. Uncut is totally fine as well, but there are some people who can’t even get the head out from under the skin. So circumcised wins this round because you better understand what you’re dealing with and there isn’t the possibility of a struggle to get the foreskin down. Which can be a little freaky. — Jammy, 26

So what did I learn? Turns out that age plays an unexpectedly large role in preference. While it seems like the dated stigma regarding uncircumcised penises plays a role in making the uncircumcised penis seem like the less appealing of the two to baby boomers, most millennials don’t really care either way.
